Go-Ahead London is recruiting a Night Engineering Supervisor to oversee the running shift engineering team and ensure sufficient fit vehicles for service. You will coordinate maintenance, monitor PVR daily with operations, and log any mileage or safety issues.

The role requires proven team leadership, ability to perform under pressure, and a proactive approach to safety and quality checks in line with DVSA standards. Experience with EV technologies is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a shift-based engineering team.
• Ability to manage performance and productivity.
• Flexibility and adaptability under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and rapid learning of new technologies.
• IRTE membership or relevant professional qualification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Allocate work and duties to the engineering team to ensure sufficient vehicles for service.
• Ensure the team delivers planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Monitor Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) daily with Operations.
• Review vehicles and log status, ensuring unsafe vehicles do not enter service.
• Conduct regular reviews of facilities, workshop, health and safety.
• Supervise contractors and ensure permits where needed.
• Perform quality checks to meet DVSA and company standards.
• Lead running shift engineers, manage performance, and motivate the team.
