A climate and logistics start-up in London is seeking a Night Central Operations Associate to ensure seamless retailer collections and smooth operations for the delivery team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

Conduct routing daily for parcels out for delivery in accordance with the Network plan.
Manage nighttime collections network to hit time slots and ensure collections are completed.
Liaise with third-party partners for collaboration and improvements.
Conduct assessments on driver performance and provide feedback.
Be the daily point of contact for collections drivers.
Review driver performance, provide feedback, and drive improvements.
Monitor reports to identify business enhancement opportunities.
Be daily point of contact with collections drivers to ensure on-time support.

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail orientated Night Central Operations Associate, responsible for making sure that all our retailer collections are completed seamlessly, that our nights run smoothly and that the delivery team are setup for success in the daytime. They will need to bring a positive and friendly attitude and have a high propensity to learn and develop. They will also need to be flexible on working hours, comfortable working evenings and weekends as required to ensure there is the necessary contact time with all shift patterns. This role at HIVED is based at our depot in Woolwich and will require some weekend working. This is a shift-based role, currently on a 4 days on / 3 days off pattern, 10 hours/day, and the shift pattern may change over time.

Responsibilities

Routing: Conduct routing on a daily basis for all of our parcels out for delivery the next day in accordance with the Network plan
Hit KPI’s and targets for routing whilst balancing route durations in line with legal limits and driver efficiency targets

Capacity and Planning Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing collections related inquiries, concerns, and support needs from our retailers at night
Manage and monitor the night time collections network to ensure all time slots are hit and collections are completed; this also involves making sure our multi-site operations run seamlessly from a planning and execution perspective
Liaise and manage with our third party partners, with accountability for day to day collaboration and pro-active suggestions for improvements to ways of working
Conduct regular assessments to understand how our drivers are performing, giving feedback and helping our driver team to keep improving
Review reports and data and identify areas of improvement for the business
Deal with driver related queries and issues
Be the daily point of contact with collections drivers to ensure that they are on-time and supported in their work
