Job Description

Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager and regularly interacting with the Hotel Manager, your primary responsibility is ensuring a high level of guest service at all times across the hotel.

As Night Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Assist with managing all operational departments
  2. Manage rosters, costings, and forecasting
  3. Develop the professional skills of the Front Office All Rounders, Night Audit, and Night Supervisor teams to ensure strong succession planning
  4. Engage in and manage guest satisfaction
  5. Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all protocols are followed
  6. Assist in all hotel areas to prevent issues, including Food & Beverage operations
  7. Respond promptly to guest requests, leading by example with proactive and resourceful service
  8. Ensure the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff
  9. Oversee the entire guest experience from reservation to departure

You are adaptable, organized, and able to handle varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and public holidays as required.

Qualifications

Your ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a bright and bubbly attitude distinguishes you. You are confident, approachable, and capable of initiating conversations easily.

  • Experience with Opera Cloud, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • QLD RSA and RMLV certifications are highly regarded
  • Open manual driver’s license
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills

Availability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, overnight, and public holidays, is required.
