Job description

Join us to apply for the Experienced Security Relief Officer role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services.

Main Duties

• Protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any updates.
• Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements to ensure contract retention.
• Undertake additional training for continuous self-development.

Operations

• Ensure compliance with policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and UK Law.
• Complete all site tasks as defined in the published AI's.
• Review and suggest amendments to AI's to improve service.
• Obtain and wear the required front-line security and CCTV licenses at all times.
• Follow instructions and procedures systematically.

Training

• Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
• Engage in additional training for self-development as directed.
• Use technology to achieve work objectives and develop expertise.
• Renew licenses 16 weeks before expiry.

Security and Health & Safety

• Report hazards or potential hazards immediately.
• Remain alert to threats or environmental changes.
• Act appropriately to threats, involving others if necessary.
• Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations.
• Document incidents accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to schedules and check call routines.
• Report incidents to emergency services and Communication Centre.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous security experience.
• SIA License in Security Guarding & CCTV.
• SC Clearance is desirable.
