Job summary

Evri is seeking a driver for our Preston site to join the UK's premier parcel delivery team. The role involves night shifts from 16:00 to 02:00, 45 hours per week, with trunking to regional hubs and home every day after your 9-hour shift.

You will drive a Volvo truck, inspect and load/unload as required, scan consignments, and complete daily defect reports while upholding road safety and transport laws. We offer 28 days leave and flexible perks.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence held and valid.
• DCPC training hours completed or in progress.
• Strong knowledge of road transport laws and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive a lorry from our Volvo fleet, night shifts, 9 hours per day.
• Plan routes, trunk to regional hubs on the night shift.
• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily; complete a Defect Report if needed.
• Load/unload and scan consignments; operate pallet trucks when required.
• Adhere to safety, health and road transport regulations.
