Job summary

Evri is seeking a Night Shift Class 1 Driver in Teesside to join the UK’s premier parcel delivery team. You’ll drive a Volvo truck, well-maintained with modern features, and ensure goods are moved safely and on time.

Most sites run Monday to Friday with 9-hour shifts starting around 5/6pm. You’ll enjoy a structured schedule, often knowing where you’ll be driving, and you’ll be home after each shift. Evri offers competitive pay and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 driving licence.
• Completed DCPC training hours or actively working toward them.
• Excellent knowledge of road transport laws and safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive a lorry from our Volvo fleet on the night shift.
• Trunk goods to regional hubs and be home after every 9‑hour shift.
• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily and report defects.
• Assist with loading/unloading where required.
• Scan consignments and operate pallet trucks when needed.
