Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for overnight ICU coverage at BID Milton. You will work with the ICU team, including intensivists, hospitalists, ED staff and nurses, to manage critically ill patients during overnight hours.

The role requires autonomous practice under Massachusetts law, with a focus on patient safety, rapid response, and provider collaboration. Expect 12-hour night shifts and weekend/holiday rotation, contributing to the ICU expansion goals.

Qualifications

• Two years postgraduate experience in critical care, hospital medicine, emergency, surgical or equivalent acute care preferred.
• Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Physician Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight ICU coverage with attending intensivist, hospitalists and ED staff.
• Perform and supervise routine and specialized procedures within scope of PA practice.
• Participate in rounds, documentation, and care coordination for critically ill patients.
• Support airway management and critical care initiatives for BID Milton.
