Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in MA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and maintain patient comfort under supervision in a busy acute care unit. The role requires an MA CNA license or EMT license or enrollment in a nursing program with clinical hours, and BLS certification on hire.

Expect 24 hours per week at 7:00 pm–7:30 am with rotating weekends/holidays. The position includes potential float to other departments as needed within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (within 6 months)
• CNA license or EMT license or enrollment in nursing program with clinical hours
• Active BLS certification required at hire
• 1–2 years CNA experience preferred
• Staff may be floated to areas as needed

• Provide personal care and maintain physical comfort
• Work under supervision of registered nursing staff
• Perform Sitter duties as assigned
• Adapt to rotating weekends and holidays
