Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Night Support Worker to assist a client living at home in Burry Port. This waking night role runs 8:00pm–8:00am, 2–3 nights per week, with 24–36 hours available.

You will provide overnight personal care, support bedtime routines, and help with moving and handling as part of a two-person team. No previous experience is required, as full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support are provided by the Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Kind, caring, and reliable nature.
• Confident in communication and able to work independently.
• Willing to work waking night shifts.
• Flexible and able to maintain a consistent routine.
• No previous experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support bedtime routine.
• Provide personal care overnight.
• Repositioning and readjusting during the night for comfort.
• Work as part of a 2:1 team for morning routines including full moving & handling and hoisting to chair.
