Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant for waking nights in Poole, offering compassionate support to clients in their own homes. You will assist with daily routines and personal care, and help with meals, shopping, and companionship.

No previous care experience is required; training will be provided, with progression opportunities and pension benefits. The role involves night shifts (10pm–7am) and requires a flexible weekend pattern.

Qualifications

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others.
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset.
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence (preferred).
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with daily routines, including household tasks and personal care.
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea.
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation.
• Helping with medication.
• Shift patterns are 10pm-7am.
