Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Female Night Support Worker in York to provide person-centred care to one client with complex needs. You'll work 12-hour waking night shifts (21:00–09:00) on a flexible zero-hours contract, building trusting relationships and ensuring high-quality care.

You'll receive full specialist training, ongoing support from your Care Manager, and access to development resources. The role offers a compassionate team environment and the chance to make a meaningful difference

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence to drive the client's vehicle.
• Comfortable around animals.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Reliable, consistent, and passionate about making a positive difference.
• Show genuine compassion and empathy for others.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour waking night care from 21:00 to 09:00.
• Deliver one-to-one, person-centred support.
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Support engagement in outings and activities.
• Follow organisational policies and safeguarding requirements; maintain professional standards.
