Job summary

Lineage Logistics in the United Kingdom is seeking a Class 1 driver to join our team. You will carry out trunking and multi‑drop deliveries, ensure loads are secure and the vehicle remains road worthy at all times.

You will communicate clearly with colleagues in English, complete daily vehicle checks, report defects, and obtain signatures before returning to the depot. Rate of pay is £15.61 per hour up to 39 hours, with a £95 weekly shift allowance; overtime paid at time and a half.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence.
• Valid DigiTacho.
• CPC required.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times.
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations).
• Double check deliveries with the customer and obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to the depot.
