Job summary

Lineage is hiring a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Heywood depot. Monday–Friday night shifts starting around 15:00–19:00 with pay £15.61 per hour up to 39 hours, plus £55 weekly shift allowance, paid weekly. Overtime over 39 hours is paid at time and a half.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, securing loads, trunking and multi-drop deliveries, and obtaining signatures from customers. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence valid and in date.
• DigiTacho and CPC valid.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Able to lift up to 18kg.
• Clear English communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is legal and roadworthy; complete daily checks and report defects.
• Verify goods loaded and secured before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in timely, compliant manner.
• Obtain customer signatures and paperwork; communicate politely and professionally.
