Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Hams Hall depot in the United Kingdom. The role operates on a 4 on/4 off days pattern with start times around 05:00.

You will perform trunking and multi‑drop deliveries, ensure goods are loaded and secured, and carry out daily vehicle checks to stay roadworthy. The package includes £16.54 per hour plus a £40 weekly shift allowance; overtime is paid after 39 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E driving licence with current DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 18 kg.
• Clear communication in English with team members.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries, ensuring loads are secure and compliant with regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects to maintain roadworthiness.
• Ensure the correct goods are loaded and secured before moving the vehicle.
• Obtain signatures and paperwork before returning to the depot.
• Provide polite and accurate handovers to customers during deliveries.
