Job summary

Zoom Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading UK manufacturer based in Rugby. This is an ongoing, full-time contract with guaranteed weekday shifts, day and night options, and weekly PAYE pay.

A fully paid two-week induction and training programme is included to ensure you start safely and confidently. You'll be delivering bulk trunk runs of construction materials, complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation, and

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Current Driver CPC essential.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Prior Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of driver legislation and road safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bulk trunk runs using Class 1 vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours and Tachograph rules.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and PPE guidelines.

Looking for consistent Class 1 work with guaranteed weekday shifts? Zoom Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading UK manufacturer based in Rugby. This is an ongoing, full-time contract offering stable work, excellent rates of pay, and a fully paid two-week training programme before you start.

You'll be completing bulk trunking deliveries of construction materials, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, professionally and in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out bulk trunk runs using Class 1 vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
• Maintain a professional approach when representing the business.
