Job summary

CDI - Russell Taylor in Holywell is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for reliable night work with a well-established transport company. You will join a friendly team and handle scheduled routes, deliveries, and collections with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires a valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph card, plus experience with drivers’ hours rules.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle on scheduled routes and deliver/collect as required
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle hygiene
• Ensure transport paperwork is accurate and submitted
• Adhere to driving regulations, health & safety procedures, and company policies
• Provide a professional service at all customer locations

The Role

• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring all transport paperwork is completed accurately
• Complying with all driving regulations and company health & safety procedures
• Providing a professional service at all customer locations

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
