Job summary

Zoom Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an established UK manufacturer based in Rugby.

This role offers consistent weekday work with ongoing, full-time contracts and a choice of day or night shifts. A fully paid two-week induction and training programme is provided before you start. You will be responsible for bulk trunking deliveries using Class 1 vehicles, with a strong emphasis on road safety and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of driver legislation and road safety.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out bulk trunking runs using Class 1 vehicles.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation.
• Following all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
• Maintaining a professional approach when representing the business.

The Role
