Job summary

Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa is seeking a Night Hotel Receptionist to provide 24-hour guest service at Great Fosters Hotel, near London. You will handle check-in, luggage assistance, late-night room service and general reception duties with a team of night porters.

The role is 37.5 hours per week over 5 days including weekends, offering a base salary of £24,785 per annum plus a monthly service charge, plus holiday entitlement and staff discounts across hotels and spas.

Qualifications

• Excellent standard of personal appearance.
• Excellent communicator in person and on the telephone.
• Warm and friendly disposition.
• Genuine desire to serve our guests.
• Organised and good attention to detail.
• Accurate data entry and computer work.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming late arriving guests and completing check in
• Luggage assistance for arriving and departing guests.
• Late night room service (food and drink) and bar tending.
• General cleaning to ensure public areas are beautifully presented for the next day’s business.
• Preparing of guest’s bills/invoices for early departing guests
• Complete general reception/switchboard duties
