Job summary

Kents Hill Park is recruiting a Night Receptionist to oversee overnight operations, delivering warm, professional service while ensuring safety, security and presentation of the hotel. You will handle night-check ins/outs, audits, and management reporting, staying calm under pressure and coordinating with the Front Office team.

The role requires experience in hospitality, strong communication and the ability to work independently at night.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest-facing environment.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently during night shifts.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, personalised guest service during overnight hours.
• Manage night-time check-ins/outs and guest queries.
• Oversee Night Audit and submit reports.
• Prepare and communicate the Night Duty Manager report.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies per hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of Front Office areas.
• Ensure safety and security through regular checks and fire walks.
