Job summary

AG Hotels Group is seeking a dedicated Night Receptionist/Night Porter for Milestone Hotel, Peterborough. You will manage night reception, handle guest inquiries, and perform night-audit tasks to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires excellent customer service, a friendly professional approach, and the ability to work independently during night hours, including weekends and bank holidays. You will support breakfast setup and basic F&B duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Managing the hotel reception during night hours, including guest check-ins, check-outs and enquiries.
• Answering telephone calls and assisting guests with requests or concerns during the night.
• Completing night audit and end-of-day administrative tasks accurately.
• Carrying out regular security and safety checks of the hotel, including guest areas and entrances.
• Monitoring the hotel throughout the night and reporting maintenance, security or guest issues.
• Setting up and preparing areas for breakfast and ensuring the hotel is ready for the morning operation.
• Supporting basic Food & Beverage duties when required, including preparing drinks or assisting with late-night guest requests.
• Handling cash and payments in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in reception and public areas.
• Following all hotel health and safety, fire and security procedures.
• Providing friendly, professional and attentive customer service at all times.
