Job summary

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels in Cardiff is seeking a Night Duty Manager to oversee overnight operations from 11pm to 7am. The role includes basic receptionist duties and security tasks, with shifts across weekends and holidays.

Experience in hotel reception or duty management is preferred. The ideal candidate will handle guest queries with professionalism, maintain safety standards, and support the overnight team to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel reception / duty manager experience is advantageous.
• Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills with ownership of guest safety and queries.
• Confident, professional and friendly personality.
• Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the night manager on duty for all shifts.
• Coordinate the overnight security team including CCTV and floor walks.
• Manage guest requests and communicate with guests and staff professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures and systems to assist staff and guests.
• Undertake Night Porter responsibilities as required.
