Premier Inn in Cardiff North is hiring a Duty Manager to lead hotel operations during shifts, guiding reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. You’ll actively coach staff, manage guest queries, and maintain high service standards across all departments.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership on the floor, quick problem-solving, and the readiness to progress toward a Hotel Manager position with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in guest-facing environments.
• Ability to resolve guest issues quickly and calmly.
• Strong communication with reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
