Job summary

Touchstone’s Here For You services deliver support to individuals in distress who may have thoughts of self-harm or suicide, with urgent same-day access for ages 16+. The Wakefield-focused role supports moving the service toward a 24/7 model, including overnight assistance when other services are closed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting people with emotional distress.
• Experience working with people at risk of suicide and self-harm.
• Experience supporting people from BME and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical 1-to-1 support to de-escalate crisis and listen to immediate concerns.
• Offer overnight crisis support as the service moves towards a 24/7 model.
