Job summary

Lochside House Hotel, part of RAD Hotel Group, is seeking a Night Porter to join our team in Scotland. This hands-on role supports guest services during the night shift, balances daily records, and helps prepare venues for the next day’s events.

You’ll handle bar service, assist with luggage, maintain safety and cleanliness, and respond promptly to guest requests while upholding our standards of hospitality and care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar hotel/hospitality role.
• Strong customer service skills and guest interaction.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Professional demeanor with strong work ethic.
• Must be over 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Bar service to guests during the night.
• Set up function spaces for weddings, conferences, and events.
• Respond to guest requests and manage late check-ins/outs.
• Ensure safety, security and regular checks of public areas.
• Assist with luggage, deliveries, and maintain cleanliness.
• Complete night audit duties and balance daily records.
• Report maintenance or security issues to relevant departments.
