Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management is seeking a Night Porter at our Glasgow hotel. You will work on the night shift from 23:00 to 07:00, perform security checks, assist guests, and support front office and housekeeping as needed.

The role requires previous hospitality experience, flexibility for night hours, and a focus on maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. You will coordinate with day teams and respond to emergencies as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality operations is required.
• Strong attention to detail and guest-facing communication.
• Ability to handle guest enquiries professionally.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with PMS systems.
• Flexible for night-shift work.

Responsibilities

• Working on a late bar, ensuring our guests are having a great time
• Cooking a great breakfast ready for our early risers
• General cleaning duties
• Conduct regular security checks throughout the hotel premises to ensure guest and property safety
• Collaborate with the front office and accounting teams to address any issues identified during the night
• Maintain clear communication with the day team by preparing handover notes and ensuring all relevant information is recorded
• Handle any emergency situations overnight, acting as the point of contact and coordinating with necessary departments
• This job is a 4 on and 4 off rota 2300 - 0700
