Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Cleaner at Bullring Shopping Centre in Birmingham. The role involves delivering high cleaning standards, adhering to schedules, and meeting SLAs as part of a 40-hour week.

You will work 40 hours over 5 days with Tuesday and Wednesday as rest days, primarily night shift 23:00–07:00, in a busy shopping environment. Training, benefits, and ongoing support are provided by Mitie.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
