Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Cleaning Operative in Birmingham City Centre to help maintain clean and safe premises. The role is part-time (20 hours per week) with a permanent contract, working Monday to Friday mornings.

You will follow health and safety guidelines, complete training, and contribute to SLAs while delivering quality service. The ideal candidate communicates clearly in English, has a flexible approach, and is reliable and hardworking.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning equipment is kept clean, maintained and safe; meets all SLAs.
• Work as part of a team and may operate with initiative.
• Deliver excellent customer service and seek ways to continuously improve.
