Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaner for the Bullring & Grand Central Shopping Centre in Birmingham. The role focuses on delivering excellent service standards, adhering to cleaning schedules and meeting SLA targets.

Contract is permanent and full-time. Hours are 40 per week, Thursday to Sunday 15:00–23:00, with a pay rate of £13.32 per hour. You will work as part of a team, following health and safety training and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
