Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Night Class 1 Trunker Driver to support our Bristol-based operations, with routes to Exeter and Newquay. Start times vary between 7pm and midnight, and you will drive a large wagon drag vehicle while ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.

You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card, with ideally 12 months' recent driving experience. We offer a competitive package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C) with Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card and compliance with tachograph rules are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a large wagon drag vehicle between sites.
• Collect and transport boxes, load to and from sites.
• Route from Bristol to Exeter and Newquay with safe, compliant driving.
• Perform vehicle checks and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Assist with manual handling of goods as needed.

Night Class 1 Trunker Driver Pay Rate: £49,368.27 Grade: CA Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Tuesday to Sunday - Start times can vary anything between 7pm & midnight Location: EX5 1EW Think you know DHL? A typical day may involve:

• Driving a large wagon drag vehicle
• Collecting boxes and transporting from one site to another (empty and full) point of loading to sites
• You will start from the Bristol site and deliver to both Exeter and Newquay
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

This role would suit people who:

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
