Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Doncaster (DN3 3FF) is recruiting a permanent full-time HGV Driver. You will deliver and collect demountable boxes within the network and comply with safety and drivers’ hours rules. The role requires a Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, plus 12 months’ Class 1 experience and experience with rigid + trailer combinations. A strong benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card.
• Minimum 12 months recent HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience driving rigid and trailer combinations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up demountable boxes to outbases within the network.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with drivers' hours regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Complete vehicle checks regularly.

Job description

Pay Rate: £48,023.04 pa
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Tuesday to Saturday. 48hrs pw. Start times between 16:00-22:00.
Location: Doncaster DN3 3FF

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivery and pick up of demountable boxes (wagon & drag) to outbases within the network
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have a minimum of 12 months' recent HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience driving rigid + trailer combinations.
