Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting a Night Class 1 Trunker Driver to support our operation from the Bristol site, delivering to Exeter and Newquay. You will drive a large wagon and drag vehicle, perform regular safety checks, and handle goods with care under drivers hours rules.

The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with shifts Tue–Sun and start times between 7pm and midnight. HGV1 licence with CPC and Tachograph card are essential, with desirable prior driving experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C).
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Ideally 12 months recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving a large wagon and drag vehicle.
• Collecting boxes and transporting from one site to another (empty and full).
• Starting from the Bristol site and delivering to Exeter and Newquay.
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Regular vehicle checks and basic manual handling of goods.

DUTIES

• Driving a large wag n drag vehicle
• Collecting boxes and transporting from one site to another (empty and full) point of loading to sites
• You will start from the Bristol site and deliver to both Exeter and Newquay
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
