DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 Driver based in Burton-on-Trent to join our team. You will perform trunking runs, manage trailer movements and maintain high safety standards on the road.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking runs between brewery sites and multiple locations.
• Conduct drop-and-swap trailer movements and EPT tipping when required.
• Drive safely under Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and vehicle compliance rules.

Total Pay Rate: £46,619.73 Total Annual Salary
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time 48hrs pw)
Shift patterns: Sunday - Thursday. Start Times available 21: 00-23:00
Overtime: Overtime regularly available.
Location: Burton-on-Trent, DE14 1PT

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Completing trunking runs between the brewery and a variety of locations including RDCs, cash & carries and warehouse feed operations
• Carrying out drop-and-swap trailer movements and occasional EPT tipping where required
• Driving safely and professionally, maintaining full compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Following all health & safety procedures, road traffic legislation and vehicle compliance requirements
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Operating curtain-sided trailers and occasional EPT tipping where required
• Are confident working independently and managing their time effectively
• Have a strong focus on safety, compliance and attention to detail
• Recent Class 1 driving experience is beneficial but not essential, and newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
