Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd. seeks drivers for night shifts delivering to retail stores across the UK. You will operate curtain-side and box trailers, with typically 1–3 drops per shift and a strong emphasis on load security, tail lift deliveries, and customer service.

The role requires a UK Class 1 (CE) licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach. Ongoing training and a competitive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
• Possess a current Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience delivering to retail, commercial or customer sites is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Able to work to planned schedules while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
• Have good geographical awareness and route navigation across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Take to the road in curtain-side and box trailers to deliver goods to UK retail stores.
• Handle 1–3 drops per shift and maintain on-time deliveries.
• Secure each load safely using industry-approved restraints.
• Complete tail lift deliveries with safety and efficiency in mind.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and communicate with the transport office.
• Represent Gregory Distribution Ltd professionally at every delivery point.
• Engage in ongoing training and development to stay compliant.
