Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is hiring a Class 1 Driver for night shifts based near Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. You will operate curtain side, box, and refrigerated trailers to deliver to retail locations, ensuring loads are secured and vehicle checks are completed daily.

The role requires a UK Class 1 CE licence, DCPC and Tachograph cards, good customer service, and the ability to work to deadlines. The position offers a base salary from £40,380 per year plus a night-shift premium and regular

Qualifications

Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Experience delivering loads to client sites is advantageous.
Passionate about customer service.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Confident, polite and a team player.
Good geographical knowledge.
Fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

Operate curtain side, box trailers and refrigerated trailers to deliver goods to retail locations.
Load and secure goods using straps and nets.
Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks.
Maintain regular communication with transport team and customers.
Attend training sessions to stay updated with industry standards.
