We are now looking for a Night Baker who loves being right at the heart of the action to join our wonderful Bakery team.

Our Bakers ensure that our world-class food halls and restaurants are stocked with mesmerizing breads and viennoiserie, baked fresh on site every single day.

About the Role

As one of our Bakers, you’ll be at the heart of the action, preparing all kinds of patisserie, breads and baked goods, organising ingredients, and keeping the kitchen clean. Your role is to act as a vital part of the bakery team by ensuring the smooth running of a section and providing support to the senior chefs and other team members.

You’ll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the day-to-day operational requirements. You’ll assist management in planning and forecasting stock and orders, support with organisation, stock rotation, and labelling of stored food. You’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing high hygiene and sanitation standards in all food-related outlets.

This is a night role, working from 9pm until 7am.

About You

You’ll be an exceptional baker with experience at Chef de Partie level or above, with extensive artisanal baking techniques, including sourdough and laminated bakery products. A passion for food and drink is essential. You’ll have excellent time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with internal and external parties.

You’ll possess exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and good organisational skills, demonstrated through paperwork, stock management, and department organisation. Leadership and management skills, including coaching and motivating the team, are important. Good PC literacy is required.
