Job summary

ABM is seeking a CCTV Operator in Oxford to provide a professional security presence. Responsibilities include access control, CCTV monitoring, site patrols, incident reporting and emergency response.

You will ensure CCTV operations comply with procedures and data protection rules while maintaining accurate records. The role requires a valid SIA licence, previous security experience, and the ability to work 4 on/4 off nights (19:00–07:00), 42 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.
• Previous experience in a security role.
• Experience monitoring CCTV systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT and report-writing skills.
• Flexible approach to working days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence on site.
• Conduct regular internal and external patrols.
• Monitor and control access/egress points.
• Verify identifications of visitors, contractors and staff.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Monitor CCTV as per procedures and data protection.
