Job summary

Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust is recruiting a Care Team Senior on nights at Bedford Court, Horsforth. The role provides leadership to the care and ancillary team during night shifts, ensuring a safe, compassionate and well-led service for residents and their families.

The post is 31.5 hours per week on a permanent basis, with a rate of £17.06 per hour and a 10% enhancement for hours between 11pm and 7am. DBS checks apply and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience in the delivery of care, especially with older people
• Good working knowledge of compliance within a care setting, including safeguarding, incident reporting, medications management and health and safety
• Ability to effectively use IT, including Outlook, Word and basic Excel
• QCF/NVQ Level 2 (and be willing to work towards Level 3)
• A great listener with excellent communication skills
• The ability to be decisive and remain calm under pressure
