Job summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking a Senior Night Care Assistant to support older people across our 16 care homes and 13 day centres in Lancashire. The role operates 21:30–08:30 with two nights on and four nights off, and is pro rata for part-time hours.

You will lead, coach and motivate the team to deliver high-quality care, with NVQ 2 in health and social care (level 3 pathway) preferred and willingness to train. DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Hold NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care, and be willing to complete level 3.
• Experience leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver high quality care.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate care staff to deliver high quality care.
• Support older people to live their lives their way in our care homes and day centres.
• Work with the team to ensure compassionate, dignity-filled daily care.
