Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust is seeking a Night Care Leader to supervise a small team of carers during night shifts at Ashwood Care Centre in Warminster. You will monitor safety, review care plans, and ensure accurate record-keeping while fostering a warm, respectful environment for residents.

You will lead with compassion, communicate clearly, and be prepared to undertake training to develop responsibilities and advance within the organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or NVQ Level 2 with progression to Level 3.
• Experience leading a care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training for career development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of carers to ensure wakeful night-time coverage and safety.
• Maintain and review care plans; ensure accurate records.
• Coordinate shift timing and support residents’ wellbeing.
• Promote a caring, compassionate, and engaging environment for residents.
