Job summary

OSJCT Group in Warminster is seeking an experienced Night Care Leader to supervise a small team of carers during night shifts. You will oversee wakeful safety, ensure care plans are kept up-to-date, and manage staff time to support residents’ wellbeing.

The role offers progression opportunities and a supportive, compassionate work environment. You’ll hold NVQ Level 3 or be progressing from Level 2, with leadership experience and a drive to develop further in a nurturing setting.

Pay rate: £16.90ph Mon-Fri, £17.30ph weekends

Contracted hours: 36.75 a week

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our care teams make a real difference every day and your professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Leading a small team of carers, you’ll be responsible for keeping wakeful watch on the security and safety of our residents and the home in general. You’ll ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed, understanding the importance of maintaining accurate records, and will be able to manage the time of both yourself and your team effectively to support the wellbeing of our residents. You’ll understand that some shifts might be challenging, but you’ll also laugh, have fun and make lasting memories with our residents.

Situated in a quiet residential street close to the centre of the bustling town of Warminster, you will find Ashwood Care Centre. The home is surrounded by beautiful gardens, with large ash and oak trees. The spacious courtyard, with its flowers and outdoor seating, provides a wonderful south facing sun trap to take in the nourished, landscaped grounds.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll have NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or you’ve achieved NVQ Level 2, and you’re prepared to study for NVQ Level 3. You’ll also be experienced in leading a team to deliver care, be keen to progress to a role with greater levels of responsibility and be willing to undertake relevant training to support your career development in a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment.

You’ll be a positive role model, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. A supportive leader, you’ll motivate your team to deliver the best possible care to our residents at all times.
