Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust is seeking a Night Care Leader in Westbury to oversee a small care team during night shifts at Watersmead. You will keep a wakeful watch on safety and contribute to care plan reviews, ensuring accurate records and smooth team coordination.

You will lead with compassion, maintain high standards of resident wellbeing, and participate in ongoing training within a nurturing environment. Night shifts include weekends on a rotating pattern.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma (or studying for Level 3) and/or Level 2 with willingness to progress.
• Experience in leading a care team and delivering high-quality care.
• Excellent communication and role-model leadership with residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of carers to provide wakeful night care and safety for residents.
• Ensure care plans are reviewed and records maintained accurately.
• Manage time and priorities to support residents' wellbeing and team efficiency.
