Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a Night Care Leader to supervise a small care team during night shifts. You will monitor resident safety, review care plans, and ensure accurate records while coordinating staff to support wellbeing.

The role offers development opportunities within a growing not-for-profit trust. Candidates should have NVQ levels 2/3 and prior team leadership. You’ll take pride in compassionate, high-quality care and will be supported with training,

Qualifications

• You’ll have NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or you’ve achieved NVQ Level 2, and you’re prepared to study for NVQ Level 3.
• You’ll also be experienced in leading a team to deliver care, be keen to progress to a role with greater levels of responsibility and be willing to undertake relevant training to support your career development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of carers to monitor security and safety of residents and the home.
• Ensure care plans are reviewed regularly and records are accurate.
• Manage your time and your team to support residents' wellbeing.
