Job summary

The Wing is seeking a Night Care Leader for its Buckinghamshire home near Leighton Buzzard. You will lead a small team of carers, keep wakeful watch, and ensure resident safety and wellbeing.

Leading a small team of carers, you'll be responsible for keeping wakeful watch on the security and safety of our residents and the home in general. You'll ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed, understanding the importance of maintaining accurate records, and will be able to manage the time of both yourself and your team effectively to support the wellbeing of our residents. You'll understand that some shifts might be challenging, but you'll also laugh, have fun and make lasting memories with our residents. In joining us, you'll also become part of our extended family. You'll work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to all those who live and work in our homes. Conveniently positioned on the south-west side of the village, close to all the local amenities, Wing View is in a peaceful neighbourhood. You'll have NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or you've achieved NVQ Level 2, and you're prepared to study for NVQ Level 3. You'll also be experienced in leading a team to deliver care, be keen to progress to a role with greater levels of responsibility and be willing to undertake relevant training to support your career development in a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment. You'll be a positive role model, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. A supportive leader, you'll motivate your team to deliver the best possible care to our residents at all times.
