Job summary

Midlands Care in Leicester is seeking a Senior Night Health Care Assistant to lead the on-night care team and deliver high-quality personal care to elderly residents. You will supervise duties, communicate clearly with staff and relatives, and ensure compassionate, person-centred care.

The role requires previous Senior Care Assistants experience, strong leadership skills, and a willingness to undertake training throughout the year, including the Care Certificate as part of induction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Senior Care Assistant essential.
• Strong communication skills for leading and coordinating the team.
• Commitment to compassionate, person-centred care.
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive training throughout the year, including mandatory courses.
• Completion of the Care Certificate is included in our induction program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care team on duty, ensuring daily activities are carried out to a high standard.
• Provide personal care and support to elderly residents, building relationships with residents, relatives and staff.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication to effectively lead and coordinate the care team.
• Motivate and inspire the team to perform at their best and provide guidance as needed.
• Prioritise residents' well-being, dignity and privacy at all times.
