Job summary

Gloucester Charities Trust is seeking a Care and Support Assistant Nights at Guild House. 36 hours per week on a two-week rota with weekend shifts, earning £13.80 per hour, rising to £14.10 after medication training, plus £1.00 for weekend hours.

This role focuses on supporting older people, with or without dementia, in a residential setting, delivering personalised care and engaging activities while ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing adult care.
• Willing to achieve NVQ/QCF 2 or Care Certificate.
• Ability to work nights and weekend shifts with care and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Support residents at Guild House to live as independently as possible.
• Provide compassionate care and always treat residents with respect and dignity.
• Assist with daily activities and enable participation in activities.
• Maintain person-centred care plans and report changes to seniors.
