Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Nights) at Dale Brook in Chesterfield. You will work a permanent night shift 20:00–08:00 with an average of 42 hours per week, earning an hourly rate of £16.47 for nights.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 and prior care experience. You will lead a care team, manage medications, update care plans, and ensure high standards of resident care while maintaining confidentiality and a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 required or equivalent
• Experience as a care assistant and familiarity with care plans
• Willingness to work night shifts and manage medications

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of personal care to residents according to care plans
• Manage and administer medications with accuracy
• Mentor less experienced staff and lead by example
• Maintain residents' records and ensure safety and confidentiality
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and daily living activities
