Job summary

Camberley Woods Care Home, part of Avery Healthcare Group, is seeking a night-shift Care Assistant to provide personal care and support residents’ wellbeing.

You will assist with hygiene, monitor health risks, and escalate concerns promptly as part of the dedicated care team.

No prior experience is required; an induction and training programme is provided. DBS check and right-to-work in the UK are required; flexibility to cover varied tasks at short notice is essential.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; induction and training provided.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dignity and independence.
• Monitor for clinical risks and escalate promptly.
• Work with the care team to maintain high-quality, safe care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team, ensuring continuity for residents
• Help residents with all personal hygiene care, supporting independence, dignity and respect
• Recognise and respond to clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and infections
• Treat residents and visitors with courtesy, upholding dignity and individuality
• Work safely across the full range of tasks
