Job summary

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication.

• Ability to follow reasonable instructions from team members.
• Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and ensure continuity of services to residents.
• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection, and escalating them in a timely manner.
• Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality.
• Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
• Contribute fully to the care team.
