Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Night Care Assistant for Fernbank, our luxurious residential home in Worthing. You will deliver high-quality personal care, support residents during the night and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Hours are 24 hours per week, 8pm–8am on Wednesdays and Fridays. We offer competitive pay (£12.84–£13.48 weekdays, £13.80 weekends), paid breaks, DBS, pension, staff meals, and strong training and progression.

• Experience in the healthcare sector preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Night Care Assistant to join our team at Fernbank, our luxurious Residential home in Worthing.

Hours: 24 hours per week - 8pm - 8am, Wednesday and Friday

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

• Ideally, you’ll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;

Package:

• £12.84 p/h weekdays £13.48 p/h Weekends. Upon completion of probation, pay increases to £13.14 p/h Weekdays and £13.80 p/h Weekends.
