Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a Night Care Assistant for Fernbank, our luxurious residential home in Worthing. The role runs 8pm–8am, 24 hours per week, with shifts on Wednesday and Friday.

You will provide high quality personal care, promote independence, input notes into the system, serve meals and build relationships with residents and relatives. Full training is provided and a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred but full training is provided.
• Kind, caring and a positive approach with energy and reliability.
• Team player with a passion for delivering superior service.

We are looking for a Night Care Assistant to join our team at Fernbank, our luxurious Residential home in Worthing.

Hours: 24 hours per week - 8pm - 8am, Wednesday and Friday

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents' personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

• Ideally, you'll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;

Package:

• £12.84 p/h weekdays £13.48 p/h Weekends. Upon completion of probation, pay increases to £13.14 p/h Weekdays and £13.80 p/h Weekends.
